Seven Star, China-Britain Business Council Struck Strategic Cooperation Deal

Morning, March 24th, 2015 saw Seven Star Energy Investment Group and China-Britain Business Council stage a ceremony in Chengdu to sign the agreement for strategic collaboration. China-Britain Business Council CEO Stephen Phillips, trade and investment commissioner of the British consulate in Chongqing Chen Fangsu, west China director of China-Britain Business Council Wang Kai, Seven Star chairperson Su Shaojun and general manager Huang Li attended the ceremony.

The 10-billion-RMB investment by Seven Star Energy Investment Group, the supersized Romandisea Seven Star International Cultural Tourism Resort has since its announcement been glimmering in the spotlight globally as a high-tech experience-oriented and cultural tourist destination. The life-size rebuild of the original Titanic, announced at the global press conference held in Hong Kong on January 12th, 2014 and launched at the Shuangliu shipyard of Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group on May 26th, 2014, has, in particular, triggered immense interests among billions of people worldwide. The universal love it advocates is the very value being promoted by the world at the moment. Communities in the UK, the owner of the original Titanic, have shown tremendous expectations for the world’s only new Titanic to be anchored in Daying, Sichuan Province, China. Stephen Phillips promised that China-Britain Business Council will spare no efforts to jointly build in the resort a small town of purely British enchantments based on the building site of the original Titanic, Belfast as the blueprint, while facilitate the British government, corporate and cultural entities to engage in full-blown cooperation with Seven Star.

The deal will not only promise a stable, long-term cooperative relationship between Seven Star and the council, but also deeper ties in a number of future domains to be developed at the resort.
Stephen Phillips also extended his hope for a complete success of the global press conference for the founding of the Titanic Foundation at the Boao Asia Forum to be held in Sanya City on March 26th.
